Sunrise and sunset, the best times of the day. The light is golden, the air is fresh, and the results can be magical. Last year I posted some shots of the deer in Richmond Park at sunrise, so here they are in sunset.
These shots took a lot of patience, no matter how hard I tried the deer were more interested in eating grass than they were doing anything else, as a result I sat and I sat waiting for a moment that never came, instead I managed to get some nice shots of them eating the grass, even if it wasn’t quite what I was hoping for.

Apparently the ground is a lot more interesting than a beautiful sunset when you’re a deer, despite eating almost all day they continued to do so while I was blinding myself waiting for them to look up, animals have no sense of timing!
