I’ve gone to shoot photos at The Embankment in London a couple of times now, oddly the riverside is one of the less frequented areas at night so it provided quite a peaceful place to spend a few hours – even if it was a bit windy.


I love the shots of the London Eye at night, although it was a shame some of the lights weren’t working, it doesn’t look the same as an uncomplete circle of light.
Some parts of these shots look unreal, but that’s what a 4 second exposure does to them, along with the lighting of course.



I have slightly edited some of the colours and enhanced some of the effect, but I really love when you take long exposures and see the smoothness of the water, it looks so cool.
I want to try more long exposure photography, I love how the water goes all misty and smooth, it makes the reflections a lot nicer.
